SAMA: A MODERN EXODUS

"One of our most recent clients, Sama Salimi Sadi shares the Salimi family’s story of faith, courage, and God’s continued faithfulness in the darkest moments of persecution and long, weary wanderings of their modern exodus to a new home and promised land. Her book also chronicles a movement of God that has spread like wildfire across Iran, reaching hearts and lives with the unshakable truth of the gospel and love of Jesus Christ. The vision behind the book is threefold—to awaken the global Church to the reality of persecuted believers in Iran, shed light on the unique struggles of MBBs (Muslim Born Believers), and offer readers an honest, compelling testimony of redemption in Christ."

Through Life and Death

"Through Life and Death: A Caregiver's Journey and Practical Guide for Navigating a Loved One's End-of-Life. Sheila and Gordon Miller were enjoying a much-anticipated professional conference with friends in a picturesque mountain resort when Gordon began feeling sick. A routine visit to an emergency room turned into a devastating diagnosis of terminal cancer. Within months, Gordon’s health had declined from helping build accessibility ramps as a missions volunteer to needing a ramp himself. Through Life and Death recounts the trials and blessings encountered during Gordon’s nine-month battle with cancer. But it is also a love story sprinkled with humor and steadfast trust in a caring heavenly Father as Sheila and Gordon’s enduring faith gave them strength to face each day. Author Sheila Miller shares poignantly the many lasts she experienced, then the many firsts of widowhood as she learned to live with grief instead of a dearly beloved husband. Through it all, she still found reasons to be joyful in God’s blessings. "Every family is affected at some point by cancer. As a caregiver for her father and husband during their battles with this dreaded disease, Sheila received advice and learned helpful tips that are scattered throughout the book. A Patient, Caregiver, and Survivor Guide is included which offers valuable information for confusing questions. This book was written to connect with readers on an emotional level, to educate, enlighten, entertain, encourage, and be a spiritual inspiration."

I John: Fellowship with God

"This is a simple, exegetical study of the book of I John. "I am a firm believer in the regular study of God’s Word. While I have great appreciation and respect for those erudites who have written many excellent works of systematic theology and commentaries on the Bible, I am not a fan of commentaries, nor a follower of theologians. I am a firm believer in beginning with the simple text of Scripture, systematically studying through it with no helps save the use of a dictionary, lexicons, and word study helps. Once the proper personal study and research has been done and documented, I consult commentaries and theological works, but rarely quote or follow their study closely. They serve as an excellent security check on the integrity of my work, but my intention is always to teach what the Spirit has been teaching me directly from His Word rather than present the nuances that He has shown to others. The result is a very simple record of the way that the Word has impacted my mind and heart. The following is the result of my personal devotions each morning, which was then adapted to be taught in church and Bible conferences. I received many requests to put my notes in book form, and eventually I did so. They are my personal notes, and when I refer to and quote from sources, I document those sources. At times I have merely inserted notes to myself from the flyleaf of my Bible, or scraps of paper sent to me by various sources, or things drawn from my memory but with no recollection of where I learned or heard them. Alas, my memory serves me well in many respects, even to the quoting of verse and line from many sources, but it doesn’t keep very accurate record of the sources of those memories. A computer search sometimes reveals it, but often it does not. I trust that the simple, uncomplicated presentation of my notes may serve in some way to enrich your own devotional life or teaching ministry. "May God exalt the truth and dynamic nature of His Word, and use these lowly, earthy thoughts of a simple expositor to His glory."
